Lokad helps companies across industries—including aerospace, fashion, automotive, and e-commerce—optimize their inventory and supply chain decisions through advanced quantitative technologies. Most of our clients are based outside France, primarily in Europe and North America.
As a Data Analyst, or Supply Chain Scientist in Lokad’s terminology, you will combine data analysis, technology, and business understanding to solve complex supply chain challenges. You will design and implement quantitative strategies using Lokad’s proprietary tools, including our Differentiable Programming technology and Envision DSL.
Your responsibilities will include analyzing and cleaning large datasets, forecasting demand, performing economic optimization, building reports, and continuously improving the strategies deployed for your clients. Around 25% of your time will be dedicated to client interactions—mainly remotely—to understand their business, discuss recommendations, and ensure that our solutions address their operational needs.
You will receive extensive training and mentoring from Lokad’s experts, developing strong skills in supply chain, predictive analytics, and quantitative business optimization.
What we are looking for
- Strong engineering or quantitative academic background
- Genuine interest in data and quantitative analysis
- Experience with programming languages such as Python
- Fluency in both English and French
- Excellent communication skills
- Fast learner with a proactive, hands-on mindset
- Ability to quickly understand complex business and technical environments
Previous experience in supply chain or advanced programming is not required. We value analytical ability, curiosity, and the capacity to learn quickly above specific prior expertise.
The position is primarily based at Lokad’s headquarters in Paris (13th arrondissement), with very occasional travel for client meetings or events.
